Terms of service

These terms (“Terms”) cover your use of the RepoYard desktop app (“Software”) and the repoyard.app website (“Site”), published by Nexstrive Services (registration 202303272747 / TR0292898-P) (“we”). If you get RepoYard from the Microsoft Store, the Store’s own terms also apply; where they conflict with these Terms on licensing, payment or refunds, the Store’s terms win.
1. Accepting these terms
By installing, buying or using RepoYard, or by using this Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t install or use the Software.
2. License and use
RepoYard is licensed to you, not sold. The license comes through the Microsoft Store and follows the Microsoft account you bought it with.
- Your purchase: a one-time purchase gives you a license to keep using RepoYard V1, with no expiry or subscription renewal. All 1.x.x updates we release are included at no extra cost.
- Version 1 updates: these focus on bug fixes, reliability, polish and small usability improvements to existing features. We do not promise additional features or a fixed release schedule.
- Where you can use it: on the Windows devices where the Microsoft Store lets you install it under your Microsoft account, within the Store’s device limits.
- Free trial: during a free trial you may use every feature. When the trial ends, RepoYard locks until you buy it. It can still stop anything that’s running and open its data folder, and it never deletes or changes the data on your PC because a trial ended.
- Commercial use: you may use RepoYard for personal and commercial work.
- Restrictions: you may not reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except where the law allows it, and you may not rent, lease, resell or sublicense it without our written permission.
3. Your code and data
RepoYard doesn’t upload your files, Git history, environment files or terminal output to Nexstrive Services, and we run no cloud sync or code-ingestion servers. Tools you start from RepoYard (Git, the GitHub CLI, ssh, coding CLIs such as Claude Code or Codex) may send data to their own services under their own terms. You own everything you build or manage with RepoYard. Keep your own backups: checkpoints are a convenience, not a backup.
4. Third-party tools
RepoYard works with tools already on your PC, including Git, package managers such as npm, pnpm, yarn and cargo, SSH, Tailscale, Docker on your servers, and coding CLIs such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode, Aider or Antigravity CLI. Your use of those tools, and any API usage or charges they incur, is governed by their own terms and billing.
Nexstrive Services is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Microsoft, GitHub, Google, Docker, Tailscale, Anthropic, OpenAI or the Git project. Product names are trademarks of their owners.
5. Payment and refunds
The Microsoft Store handles pricing, payment, local currency, sales tax and refunds. To ask for a refund, sign in at account.microsoft.com/billing/orders, find RepoYard in your Order history and choose Request a refund. Microsoft decides refunds under its own policy. If you have trouble, email us and we’ll help where we can.
6. No warranty
The Software and Site are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that RepoYard will run without interruption or errors, or work with every device, Windows update or third-party tool. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Nexstrive Services, its owners and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, computer failure or downtime, arising from your use of, or inability to use, RepoYard or the Site.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
9. Changes
If we change these Terms, we’ll publish the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use RepoYard after a change means you accept it. Changes to these Terms do not remove the V1 access or 1.x.x updates included in an existing purchase.
